Total E&P Indonesie Received Best Content Award at the 39th IPA Convention and Exhibition 2015

The most anticipated event for oil & gas industry in Indonesia, the 39th IPA Convention & Exhibition has been successfully held on May 20-22, 2015 with the theme of “Working Together to Accelerate Solutions in Facing Indonesia’s Energy Crisis.” The annual event that took place at the Jakarta Convention Center, still considered as one of the most important in the Asia region, which effectively have gathered 255 companies participating as exhibitors with 271 booths, also 2,742 convention delegates from 24 countries, and more than 24,000 visitors throughout the three days exhibition.

Officially opened by Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs, Indroyono Soesilo who was representing The President of Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, the opening ceremony also attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said, General Directorate IGN Wiratmadja, Head of Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Actvities (SKK Migas) Amien Sunaryadi, Head of BKPM Franky Sibarani and Vice Chairman of Commission VII Satya W Yudha. In his speech, Coordinating Minister Maritime Indroyono Susilo elaborated new oil and gas reserves discovery as an important point that is mandated by the President Joko Widodo. This is related to oil and gas production target that has not been achieved in the last five years. "Oil and gas sector are key drivers of the state revenues, approximately 18% of the total state budget. To that end, the priority  in development of energy such as oil, coal, and renewable energy is the focus of the current government," said Indroyono.

The Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs, Indroyono Soesilo then started his walkthrough on the expo area by visiting Total E&P Indonesie’s (TEPI’s) booth and observed to the highlight presentation delivered by Vice President Human Resources, Communication, and General Services, Arividya Noviyanto.

On this year’s exhibition, TEPI upheld Operational Excellence and Contribution to the Nation theme that carried out to the entire message and program at the booth. During the three days fair, TEPI presented insightful programs and activities that captured visitor’s attention. There were presentations covering the topics on CSR Program, North West Tunu 3D Seismic Survey: Technical and Societal Point Of View, CSR on Education Program, Environment Program, Scholarship & Training Program, SACI: iCare Program, Alternative Energy (Awango) and Cultural Preservation (Total Indonesia Foundation).

To add a significant presence in this expo, TEPI has always featured an attractive and captivating booth. Located at the Assembly Hall area, the 126sqm TEPI’s booth displayed LEDs showing corporate information in the form of interesting illustrations on digital posters and videos that spread out evenly. The visitors were also engaged with our latest batch of TEPI Ambassador’s who were there to deliver corporate messages, campaigns and values; and handle queries besides leading presentations, quizzes and interactive iCare Dance game. Our trademark pantomime quartets did not miss a moment to become one of the crowd stopper and added more fun to the booth.

During the closing ceremony, TEPI received an award as Best Content for Platinum Category (size >100sqm) as well as nominated in the best booth design for Platinum Category. The Best Content award given based on the highest score on the Communication Tools: poster, multimedia, souvenirs, booth program and hospitality. One of our employee also received Best Paper IPA 2015 on Professional – Geophysics category, Didiek Bhudy P on: De-risking drilling targets for future Tunu Shallow Zone Development Phase: Application of litho-seismic classification based on simultaneous inversion. It was a significant acknowledgement to the impressive team collaboration.
